A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to be selected to participate to a Video Game incubator program for women who had no experience in the video game industry but were interested by that field. As a casual gamer myself, I was really excited to get the opportunity and learn more. Over the course of this 6 weeks program, I developed my own video game on a computer using the Unity and designing every single frame of the animation using Sketch.
This infinity runner type of game starts with cutting all your five fingers on one hand. for each level you will have to run, jump and collect certain items to save a finger. Also, you can only use the finger you are trying to save to press the SPACE bar. So level one, to save you thumb, you can only use your thumb; level 2, the index, etc… until you save them whole 🙂
Conclusion
I had so much fun developing this game as well as I learned so much about Unity and animation that allowed to improve my communication with developers and motion designers.
